Mbutu Villa is a fully sustainable home built from locally sourced coral stone and cement, with every material coming from within one kilometer of the site. Constructed together with the local community, the villa showcases low-impact, low-cost building that blends comfort with responsible design. It collects its own rainwater, stays naturally cool, and is now operating successfully as an Airbnb in the Mbutu region -demonstrating how thoughtful, eco-based construction can offer both modern living and long-term sustainability.
